Christmas is fast approaching and if I’m honest I am equally just as excited as I am terrified.

This week is not only a week to celebrate Isabella turning ONE but its also time to celebrate me and Chris surviving our first year of being parents and I think it’s also only fair to celebrate my ‘birth’ day too!

We are now on countdown to Isabella turning one. This past year has been a tough one and its definitely been a rollercoaster of a journey. Becoming a mum was a real struggle for me and the transition was really quite tough but this year has taught me so very much.

As Isabella turned 5 months old I finally sought help and support for how I had been feeling since becoming a mum. As Isabella grows I wonder how I will explain to her about the first year of her life, about it not being the happy time we’d expected and how I will explain to her about my PND.

I can’t quite believe that I actually get to write about this, to say that Issue 2 of the Positive Wellbeing Zine for Mums has now been published for over 3 weeks and that the feedback has just been incredible!

I’ve definitely been neglecting my blog of late, in fact I’ve been neglecting writing about motherhood in anywhere other than on social media for the past few months as I’ve just not had the time.
