This morning I am so excited to be bringing you another blog for our Mummy Blog Series! Every week one mum will be answering two questions and a few This or That questions sharing some of their stories about motherhood!
Today it is the turn of the lovely Rachel.
Tell us a little bit about yourself …
My name is Rachel, I am a 32year old mother of one Threenager called Sebastian. I gave up my long term job to become a stay at home mum until Seb goes to school full time and I also have a small online business. My husband works hard to ensure that we live the life that we do.
A fun fact about me - I am a really rubbish cook unless it’s cake 😂
What is your biggest mummy win to date?
My biggest Mummy Win to date is when my Son turned to me and said “I love you Mummy, you are my friend”. There is no greater achievement than hearing that your child loves you in my eyes. It made me realise that even on the days when I feel like I’ve not got anything right, it doesn’t matter to him because loves me regardless.
What is your 'you know you are a parent when' moment.
You know you are a parent moment when you have caught human sick willingly in your hands. Never would I have ever seen me doing such a disgusting thing before having a child. It’s true that you would literally do anything for your kids.
