I am so excited to be bringing you the next blog for our Mummy Blog Series this morning! Every week one mum will be answering two questions and a few This or That questions sharing some of their stories about motherhood!

Today it is the turn of the lovely Amy from Mothering A Rainbow.

"Hi, I am Amy. I am 27 years old and live in Telford, Shropshire. I am currently a part time special needs assistant and work 1:1 with a year 1 pupil in mainstream primary school. I met my husband when I was 15 and we have been married 4 years in August. I have 2 children; Jason and Ellie. Jason unfortunately died shortly after birth in 2015 and Ellie was born in 2016 and is nearly 2."

What is your biggest mummy win to date?

My biggest mummy win to date is attending a baby group with Ellie. I found Hartbeeps when Ellie was 10 months old and we now love going. After my first baby died I couldnt be around mums or pregnant women at all. When Ellie arrived I still couldnt associate with other mums who hadnt been through baby loss, I felt like a bad omen so I chose not to go to any baby groups incase people would pity me or completely ignore me. When I eventually picked up the courage to go I found some groups locally were very clicky and the mums were more interested in gossiping than spending time with their children. Once I went to Hartbeeps I found I didnt have anxiety or feel nervous and we have been going for nearly 9 months

What is your 'you know you are a parent when' moment.

You know you're a parent when you have more childrens apps than adult ones. For christmas last year I asked hubby for a kindle tablet as my phone doesnt have much storage space and I thought the apps I used needed more space and so it made sense. My tablet now has cbeebies iplayer, cbeebies playtime, cbeebies island and many more baby apps to keep Ellie occupied while I get the jobs done. For me it has fb, ig and wordpress.
